            The records of the Northern Chair consist of committee minutes, taped lectures, correspondence, records related to Thomas Berger, Dennis Patterson, Mary Simon, William Taylor, etc. and cover the dates 1986-2003. The records were forwarded to the Archives in 1993 by Peter Kulchisky, in 1996 by John Milloy, and in 1998 by Bruce Hodgins. A further addition of tapes, reels, and videos was received from the Audio-Visual Department in approximately 2012 and added to existing boxes.

            Fonds consists of material relating to the research and initiatives the Trent-Fleming Trail Studies Unit engaged in. Files include correspondence, reports, research material, pamphlets, brochures, conference materials, and other materials. Photographs document the Northumberland Forest trails. CD-ROMS documents project reports. VHS tape documents the television coverage of the Rails to Greenways Conference (1993). The earliest campaigns, Founding and Development, were succeeded by the Second Decade Fund, the Continuing Advancement Fund, the Fund for Excellence, the For Tomorrow Campaign and the Beyond Our Walls campaign.
