Trent-Fleming Trail Studies UnitFonds documents the work of the Trent-ESL program and experiences of its students. Records include brochures, posters, and student guides. Fonds also includes 3 testimonial books featuring stories and photographs by Trent-ESL students and alumni (2003-2014), a scrapbook of the Canadian Culture Summer English experience program (2019), and a memory book on the history of Trent-ESL, produced for its final celebration (April 2026). Most of the materials concern the boat Turtle Two which was owned by the Biology Department at Trent University and used for river-based experiments. The word Turtle was derived from Trent University Research and Teaching Laboratory for Experimental Work. The materials cover the years 1968-1973.

Records include PC Club minutes, correspondence, and other papers, as well as materials issued by the Progressive Conservative Youth Federation (PCYF) Ontario Progressive Conservative Student Association (OPCSA), and Progressive Conservative National Headquarters. The first file in the fonds contains a handwritten "list of materials from Trent PC Club turned over to government documents section, Bata Library," dated May 2, 1973, and includes a list of the contents of these files.
