This item consists of a set of 40 posters and an accompanying booklet. The posters are reproductions of posters related to the Russian Revolution and created in Russia between 1917 and 1929. They are loosely enclosed in a cover with the title, Posters of the Russian Revolution, 1917-1929, from the Lenin Library, Moscow. Also included is an accompanying booklet with the title, Russian Revolutionary Posters, 1917-1929, published in 1966 and written in English, which gives the translated titles of the posters, along with explanations and a history.

There are also three charter certificates, one dated 1919, and two dated in 1937, which were issued to the Canadian Brussels Carpet Weavers Benefit Association and to the United Textile Workers Federal Union, both of Peterborough. Also included in the collection is a photograph entitled "Delegates to Twelfth Convention of the P.M.L. of N.A."
The fonds consists of the following three items: 1. an undated broadside with lines on Scott and Hackett who were murdered and the Right to Walk, an anonymous poem on the 1870 Riel Rebellion; 2. a broadside dated July 12, 1877, with poems on the Montreal Riots (of the same date) with the Murder and Funeral of the late Thos. Lett Hackett, by Ulster True Blue and; 3. a certificate of degree, dated March 26, 1923, of Norman Killenbeck, L.O.L. Peterborough #3.

This item includes minutes of meetings from January 1855 to October 1904; lists of officers; lists of successful competitors at agricultural shows; and broadsides advertising agricultural shows. The book contains (pasted to the inside back cover) a letter dated May 11, 1887 from A. Blue of the Ontario Department of Agriculture who acknowledges that the Smith, Ennismore and Lakefield Agricultural Society has been duly recognized and incorporated. Reference is made to a certificate from the West Peterborough Electoral District [Agricultural] Society recognizing the Smith Township society.
