This fonds consists of essay submissions, correspondence and financial records which relate to the Alternatives magazine when it was published at Trent. There are layouts, original artwork and subscriber information for several issues. Conserver Society Notes, which amalgamated with Alternatives, also has material in this collection.

This fonds includes the letters of Anna Leveridge, written to her mother and family friends in England, describing their boat trip to Canada and pioneer life in the backwoods of Hastings County, Ontario, near Coe Hill, Marmora, and Millbridge. The fonds also includes family genealogy and photographs.

This fonds consists of approximately 843 original cartoons by A.G. Racey covering a wide range of subjects. Due to the universal nature of his cartoons, Racey gained international recognition and his works were reproduced in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world. A file list and descriptions of the cartoons, including dates where known, is available below.

Fonds consists of photographs, correspondence, and miscellaneous documents pertaining to the Atwood family of Lakefield, Ontario. Also included are materials pertaining to Anne Atwood's family, the Traills; a sketch identified through an accompanying note as Ernest Shackleton; and correspondence between Edwin Guillet and explorer George M. Douglas.

This fonds consists of photographs, two charcoal portraits, land documents, family bible and biographical sketches of Lakefield, Ontario. It also includes information on the Joseph Walton family of Smith Township. The bible contains genealogical information and is a "Cottage" Bible stamped with name of Joseph and S.J. Walton.

This addition to the fonds consists of Board minutes, briefs, correspondence, subject files, press clippings, periodicals and various other assorted records pertaining to the Canadian Association in Support of Native Peoples. The bulk of the fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes and photographs created by CASNP and its members and associated agencies. Houston and Alan Houston to their aunt, Augusta Houston, and to their cousin, "Baby" Stewart Houston (Cyril was in the Royal Air Force and Alan, the Army; while Stewart and her mother were in England, the brothers made their headquarters with them on their leaves; Cyril was killed in a plane crash in Belgium; Stewart visited his grave in 1929 on a visit through Belgium; attached to one letter are two unidentified women, and one hand embroidered Christmas card

Folder includes correspondence between Stewart and Trent University re her position as special lecturer in art and as director of Mackenzie Gallery, lecture schedules, etc. (also included is a sketch of the building which housed Mackenzie Gallery before it opened as a gallery, by David Woods, 1971; also wedding photo of Mr. & Mrs. Gengembre-Curwood, 1970); miscellaneous letters to Stewart regarding the Bagnani medal, etc.; also financial records, etc. relating to Mackenzie Gallery

This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes and original documents which were collected by Professor David Macmillan during his research. Items such as voters' lists for Victoria County, Ontario and a series of broadsides advertising land in Victoria County; documents from the Hudson's Bay Company, East Indies; minutes from the Barbados Board of Legislative Council, a Sydney Australia Company, and the Sydney Australian Committee of the New Steam Company; and a number of reproduction engravings and prints are included in the fonds. Also included in the fonds is a copy of Macmillan's 1964 Ph.D. thesis: "The Scottish Australian Connection..." and assorted pamphlets relating to New South Wales.

Drawings of Jim Lauder, a Canadian soldier, from a German prisoner-of-war camp in 1944. Also, added in 2019, a copy of Hard Tears & Soft Laughter by James William Lauder (Tellwell Talent, 2018); the manuscript for this book was written by James William Lauder and published posthumously by Lauder's son, Jimmie Arthur Lauder, in 2018.

This fonds consists of correspondence, sketches and class lecture notes of Erik Loder. Loder's theories of art are discernible in his jottings and notes. Also included are numerous art catalogues and exhibition notes; slides of Loder art works; sketches, drawings and paintings; personal cards and letters sent at the time of Loder's death in 1993; art auction and sale lists.

This fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, family biographical information, notes and research for speeches, alderman election materials, accounts, land ownership documents, business records and newspaper clippings pertaining to the personal and political career of John Beverley Robinson. Also included in the fonds is research material of Mrs. Forsyth Grant, daughter of J.B. Robinson and President of the Women's Canadian Historical Society of Toronto.

The fonds consists of original designs and drawings by Jean Harstone from architectural design school, 1925-1926 and promotion, advertising and program materials from the Columbia Broadcasting System Radio Network and the National Broadcasting Corporation Radio Network, New York City, 1938-1952.
