Collection consists of press clippings about Trent University, primarily received by the University from a news clippings service. Clippings include articles from various news sources on the university, its faculty, staff, students, alumni, events, events, projects.

Mostly action shots of people cross country skiing around campus. Good views of Bata Library and the Otonabee River can be seen in the background. A few downhill/ski jumping photographs. Student skier portraits.

This series consists of scrapbooks and files of newspaper clippings documenting athletics at Trent. Most scrapbooks include newspaper clippings from local newspapers (The Peterborough Examiner, Peterborough This Week, and the Arthur). Scrapbooks and newspaper clippings highlight competitions and sporting events related to Trent Varsity teams and local athletic achievements, and personal achievements by local athletes on an international level such as the Olympics.
