He was also Senior Tutor of Lady Eaton College (1981), Associate Dean and Principal of Part-Time Studies (1988-1990) and Principal of Catharine Parr Traill College (2001-2004 and 2005-2008. Michael Peterman received the Distinguished Research Award in 1999.
