File consists of 2 diaries and one sketch of “The Radical” (R.S.K.) by DCH [Dorothy Choate Herriman] (1946), in the back.

Diary 10 documents a party for Sir Charles G.D. Roberts' 80th birthday attended by Canadian literary people, W. Perkins Bull, etc. Notes also an "at-home" at the Art College with the Reids, Jackson, Sir Wyly [Grier] etc.

In Diary 11, Herriman writes of her interest in Robert Sheldon Kenny, a friend of Dorothy Livesay, beginning in 1946. He began his career as an anarchist but gradually worked for organized labour as a socialist. Dorothy H. met him when he worked in a second-hand bookshop in Toronto. A penciled note on the first page by Dorothy gives an outline of their friendship written in 1972.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence, research notes, photographs, manuscripts, and some original historical records relating to Professor David S. Macmillan's work as an archivist at the University of Sydney and his research and publications on Scottish and Australian history.

This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes and original documents which were collected by Professor David Macmillan during his research. Items such as voters' lists for Victoria County, Ontario and a series of broadsides advertising land in Victoria County; documents from the Hudson's Bay Company, East Indies; minutes from the Barbados Board of Legislative Council, a Sydney Australia Company, and the Sydney Australian Committee of the New Steam Company; and a number of reproduction engravings and prints are included in the fonds. Also included in the fonds is a copy of Macmillan's 1964 Ph.D. thesis: "The Scottish Australian Connection..." and assorted pamphlets relating to New South Wales.

File consists of correspondence between Stewart Bagnani and Trent University regarding her position as special lecturer in art and as director of Mackenzie Gallery. File also includes lectures schedules; a sketch of the building which housed Mackenzie Gallery before it opened as a gallery, by David Woods, 1971; a wedding photo of Mr. and Mrs. Gengembre-Curwood (1970); miscellaneous letters to Stewart regarding the Bagnani medal, etc.; also financial records, etc. relating to Mackenzie Gallery.

This fonds consists of miscellaneous designs by Cooper & Beatty, Limited, Toronto, for advertisements, invitations, cards, etc. Also included are various designs with the Trent University crest, as well as Cooper & Beatty's "The Metal Book" with available type settings on metal plates.

This collection consists of assorted documents relating to Cobourg and vicinity. It includes marriage certificates, correspondence, indentures, opera house programmes, choral and church programmes, an oil sketch by Alice M. Duncan, and photographs and postcards. It also includes a copy of the "Cobourg World", April 8, 1898 Volume 25, and No. 43.

This fonds consists of two colour prints of Cobourg. One is of the lighthouse, entitled "Light Tower, near Coburg", by W.H. Bartlett and C. Cousen and the other is of Cobourg Harbour, entitled "Coburg", by W.H. Bartlett and R. Wallis.

The bulk of the fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes and photographs created by CASNP and its members and associated agencies. File also includes a pencil sketch of two people canoeing, likely drawn by Carol, a newsletter with camp photographs (1980, 1981), and a photocopy of a newspaper story about Bruce and Carol Hodgins (1983).

It also includes information on the Joseph Walton family of Smith Township. The bible contains genealogical information and is a "Cottage" Bible stamped with name of Joseph and S.J. Walton.
