This fonds consists a diary (1863-1864) of M.A. Farrar and 12 drawings, etchings, watercolours and sketches by M.A. Farrar, genealogical information re the Farrar family, and photographs of Farrar and family members.

This fonds consists of two watercolours with one identified as Hastings, Ontario, and and the other identified as Forest City. Also included in the fonds are two pencil sketches and a photograph of another sketch. One sketch of two farms and a river with a steamboat on it, but otherwise unidentified. The other sketch is of the Anderson house, the Ashfield house, Mr. Harry Fowld's house and the Wanamaker's house, all in Hastings, Ontario. The photographic reproduction is of a sketch entitled Hastings on the Trent, Ontario. The watercolours and sketches were created by Rev. Michael A. Farrar.

This fonds consists of 59 photographs and 16 tintypes, (mostly unidentified), and one scrapbook with a number of original artwork pieces including two paintings on leave.

Fonds consists of letters written to Peter Gzowski in his role as broadcaster for CBC's "Morningside" show. The hundreds of letters include such subjects as literacy, Prime Minister Jean Chretien, and Edith Babb. Also included are contracts, correspondence, notes, and memos relating to Peter Gzowski's career with CBC; records relating to Gzowski's association with the "Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf for Literacy" tournament; Gzowski's association with Ridley College, and Trent University (Margaret Laurence tribute, Timothy Findley conference, chancellorship); and greeting cards, personal calendars, photographs, family genealogical information, and correspondence relating to awards received. The fonds also includes correspondence, partial manuscripts, and notes relating to various books which Gzowski has written.

This fonds consists of letters addressed to Peter Gzowski and the CBC radio show "Morningside". It also consists of manuscripts, correspondence with publishers, etc.

File consists of oversized prints and engravings. Subjects vary, including a portrait of Sir Charles Nicholson (Provost of the University of Sydney); "Graves at the Head of the Harbour of Balaklava," "Old Custom House, Dundee," cartoons from magazines, and French drawings accompanied by poems.

Item is a framed unnamed watercolour of a house with a woman standing in front. The inscription reads: Olive Langley. /50. A further identification tag on the frame reads: Peterborough Artist and Author.

Fonds consists of records documenting Robert Lightbody's experiences with Trent University, as a student, lawyer, fundraiser, and active alumnus. Records include correspondence, meeting minutes, photographs, newspaper clippings, planning records, student records, pamphlets and other ephemera, course syllabi, and student governance records. Fonds also includes a speech and pamphlets from a talk given by Margaret Lightbody for the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW).

Fonds is organized into 11 series. This fonds consists of the personal and collected papers of the Honourable Leslie M. Frost, former Premier of Ontario. It contains correspondence; letter books from World War I through his legal and political career to post-retirement phase of public and private directorships; scrapbooks of Leslie Frost and his wife Gertrude; and historical files on various subjects, including the Frost family, the Carew family, various political figures, and Victoria, Peterborough and Haliburton Counties. The fonds is especially valuable for the study of Conservatism and it includes collected campaign material from 1891 to 1971, material on federal and provincial elections, and original and copied historical material on many individuals and events. Also included in the fonds are photographs, miscellaneous graphic materials, and audio visual materials.

The fonds is in eight bound volumes and consists of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, diaries, poetry, sketch books, accounts and a typewritten unpublished autobiography.

This fonds consists of typescripts of "Aids to Jury Charges (Criminal)" and "Aids to the Small Claims Court Acts" written by Judge Kennedy. Also included are miscellaneous documents regarding the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and the Humane Killing Trap Development Committee; various certificates and appointments; a Judge Kennedy portrait; a photo of Judge Kennedy and Harry Deyman in the opening ceremonies procession at Trent University; and one photo of a courtroom scene with Judge Kennedy.

Fonds consists of indexes and other material compiled by Joan Murray in 1970, in her capacity as art editor for The Canadian Forum. Contains two three-ring binders of textual and graphic records, one print copy of The Canadian Forum from April-May 1970, and a 1-page handwritten note [in Murray's hand?]. The first binder (7 cm) contains an index of all illustrations by artists in The Canadian Forum until 1970, organized alphabetically by artist. The second binder (4 cm) contains an index of select articles in The Canadian Forum between 1930 and 1950, organized alphabetically by subject matter. The print copy of the magazine is the 50th anniversary edition, dated April-May 1970. The handwritten note is titled "Themes of the time."

Fonds consists of maps and plans of the Ottawa and Haliburton areas, time-books of Bronsons and Weston logging firm, and photographs of the building of a railway, and of the Haliburton area. Included also are research material and manuscripts relating to books which Harley R. Cummings wrote about schools in the Ottawa area, and on the history of Haliburton. Included are notes on John Strachan and a transcript of his diary. The fonds also includes several genealogical charts of the MacCallum family.
