This collection consists of 278 slides taken by Rosemary McConkey during her work as a nutritionist in Malaya (1962) and in Nigeria (1965). McConkey was part of a team of medical personnel and scientists from the University of Ohio who undertook surveys of nutritional needs in these two areas. McConkey has supplied a detailed listing of the slides (below) and has also included a 45 r.p.m. recording of the national anthem of Malaya "Negara Ku,", six books relating to the two areas and a map of Malaya. Series documents Peter Gzowski's research activities between 1960-2001. Records consist of research material, correspondence, published and unpublished writing, and Peter Gzowski's handwritten notes. Included are records relating to Gzowski's research on Stephen Leacock (1995), correspondence and a proof for Gzowski's chapter on the art of W.O. Mitchell (1997), notes for the Sixth Morningside Papers book (1996-1997), and undated drafts and notes of Gzowski's memoir. Series also contains Gzowski's proposal for "Little Book of Canada" (1984), "This Country" book reviews (1974-1975), and correspondence, notes, and research related to Gzowski and Co. (1985-1986), especially correspondence from Glenn Sarty, the show's executive producer.
Collection consists of various publications relating to, and collected as part of Project North: The Interchurch Project on Northern Development. Includes material from the Northern Native Rights Campaign, the Project North newsletter, Project North Journal, and other materials.
