          This fonds consists of various original and copied records of the business activities of Thomas Hay, and related family data, such as birth-death records, correspondence, drawings (technical and sketches) and photographs. A small genealogical table compiled by the archivist is enclosed.

          Collection consists of correspondence, 1882-1899, and several envelopes dating 1870s to 1890s, most of which are addressed to Thomas Choate of Warsaw, and Mrs. John Moore [Cettie Choate, daughter of Thomas]; souvenir brochure of pictures of Peterborough, Ontario; Maccabees brochures; approximately 125 stereographs depicting scenery, architecture, and people in the U.S.A., Europe, and Canada; two photographs of the employees of Western Clock Company Limited of Peterborough, Ontario, 1938 and 1944; a temperance meeting poster for Warsaw, Ontario, 1858; and an electoral district of East Durham proclamation broadside, 1924. Also included is the Choate Family Bible donated and added to the collection in 2002. The bible contains genealogical information on the Choate family.

          This fonds consists of a blacksmith's account book belonging to John Tinney of Cavan, Ontario and a small pocket diary kept by a soldier, Hector Tinney who served overseas in World War I. Also included in the fonds are a number of post cards of Belleville, Ontario, Trenton in Ontario as well as a photograph of Hector Tinney and the Tinney blacksmith shop.

          This collection consists of three ledgers of business accounts and one ledger of accounts for School Section No. 5, Mariposa Township, Victoria County. This is especially interesting as it goes from 1856 to 1907 giving teacher salaries and other expenses. Also included are 58 black and white photographs of Nova Scotia circa 1900.

          Fonds includes personal and professional correspondence, press clippings, descriptions of benchmark occasions, and award certificates from Storey’s Trent University career, including The Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education Communication Award (1986), the Big Brothers and Big Sisters National Commendation Award (2000), and the Trent University Eminent Service Award (2011). There is also a large photograph album highlighting the 40 years that Tony spent at Trent University. Also included are 12 individual photographs of Storey, including headshots, 1 photo of Storey receiving the Big Brothers and Big Sisters National Commendation Award, and several group photos with unidentified individuals. Additionally, there is professional correspondence related to university matters, alumni associations and events, and the establishment of the Alumni House in Champlain College. There is also personal correspondence between alumni associations, colleagues, and friends, including thank-you cards, e-mails, greeting cards, and event invitations.
