          File consists of a self-published book of photographs called "Right to Belong" that documents a gathering at Trent University from February 28 - March 2, 2019. As the first page states, "In 1970, Jeannette Corbiere Lavell and David Lavell began a challenge against the Canadian Government in a landmark case that would eventually reach the Supreme Court. The fight to end gender discrimination in the Indian Act would ultimately last decades and involve many Indigenous leaders, supporters and allies. An historic gathering, hosted at Trent University (Nogojiwanong/Peterborough, Ontario), brought together key leaders and their allies to tell their stories of this struggle. The Right to Belong research gathering and the Right to Belong Indigenous Women's Symposium were held on February 28th, March 1, and March 2, 2019. This collection of photographs was created to remember these events.

          The book is honouring Yvonne Bedard, Ron Christensen, Mary Eberts, Fred Kelly, Jeannette Corbiere Lavell, Sharon McIvor, Judy Rebecca [Rebick?], Gwen Brodsky, Shelagh Day, Jose Garcia, David Lavell, Tony Mandamin, Alanis Obonsawin, Bob Rob, and Clayton Ruby.           Fonds consists of papers, articles, and manuscripts of books written by Robert Bowley. Included is research material, photographs, slides, and negatives relating to the postal history of Smith Township, Peterborough, and the surrounding area. Included also are letters dated 1823-1878 of the Baptie family who were situated in Ida, Ontario, and extensive research material related to Captain Charles Rubidge, Sir Sandford Fleming, the Pengelley/Roche families, S.J. Carver, and local historic sites. This fonds is a tremendous resource for information related to Peterborough and area in general.

          This fonds consists of the working papers of R.G. Barclay including correspondence, notes and drafts relating to a history of unemployment insurance which was written by Barclay; correspondence, memoranda, press clippings regarding guaranteed annual wage plans and health insurance; correspondence and clippings regarding pensions; miscellaneous correspondence and papers; and photographs of Unemployment Insurance Commission staff and landscapes. The fonds also includes correspondence, memoranda, memorabilia and photographs regarding the "53 Varieties".

          Collection is comprised of approximately 4200 slides of photographs pertaining primarily to the Canadian and Greenland Arctic. The photographs were taken during the 1970s to 1990s by Roger Buxton and are identified and dated. Also included are aerial views of Trent University (14 September 1985), photographs of the aftermath of the Barrie, Ontario tornado (31 May 1985), and photographs of family and scenic landscapes.
