Fonds consists of notes, manuscripts, papers and articles by Professor Kenneth Kidd; research materials in the form of photographs, maps, and copies of articles and diaries; family correspondence; genealogical information relating to the Kidd and Jebb families, and 2 numbered Fred Saggashi prints.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence (mostly between 1960 and 1990), photocopies of articles by various authors, manuscripts of anthropological subjects by Professor Kidd and some of his personal papers.

Fonds is primarily comprised of copies of research material. Included are reproductions of genealogical materials related to the Brownscombe family of Peterborough, Ontario, beginning with William Brownscombe (1830-1893), a descendent of Kenneth Brown's wife, Kathleen Brownscombe. Also included is material related to the Haliburton Scout Reserve, the Canadian Canoe Company and the Wm. English Canoe Company.

File consists of two photographs of Terry Kelly, a coach of the Trent University Rowing Team.

File consists of five photographs of Ashok Kaushik. Kaushik was the acting director of Conferences, Hospitality Services at Trent University from 199? -1997 and then was director from 1997-2007.

File consists of two photographs of Stephen Katz professor of Sociology at Trent University. Katz received the Distinguished Research Award in 2009.

Fonds is comprised of photographs, letters, speeches, articles, newspaper clippings and historical research notes related to the life of Kathleen Richmond Barclay Bowley. Much of the fonds relates to Bowley’s interest and experience in the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service and her participation in the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Peterborough Club. Also included are dozens of Barclay family ancestral letters.

The fonds is in eight bound volumes and consists of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, diaries, poetry, sketch books, accounts and a typewritten unpublished autobiography.

Fonds consists primarily of research material for the book, Cornwall Electric: 100 Years of Service, published in 1987 by Karen Carter-Edwards. The records focus on Cornwall and the history and development of Cornwall Electric; they also cover broader issues such as the development of public education in Ontario, municipal ownership of public utilities, and the development of provincial policies related to public health in the areas of sanitation and fluoridation.

File consists of four photographs of Karen Kain, who received an honorary degree (Doctor of Laws) from Trent University in the Fall of 1982.
