          File consists of two images and three identical headshots of Professor Roger Jones who is Professor Emeritus of Trent University. He was a faculty member of the Biology Department for 32 years and retired in 2000. Professor Jones was a member of Trent's Nature Areas Committee.

          This collection consists of an eclectic assortment of documents and papers pertaining to many parts of Canada including 3 documents prepared by Powadiuk for the government, 2 of which concern native peoples; 10 prints of 19th century personalities; 1905 map of the Niagara River; papers re Indian-Eskimo Association; deeds, mortgages and trust documents from Huron and Bruce Counties; Niagara peninsula documents including Hugh Alexander's account book; Lord Selkirk letter dated 1837; Charles G.D. Roberts letter dated 1892; notes on the inception of "Evangeline." A major element in the collection relates to Mr. James Ross of East Hawkesbury, stone mason and merchant and his family. The Ross quarry appears to have supplied stone for the Carillon lock and for Fort Henry. The family was involved in the East Hawkesbury school for 2 decades.

          Fonds pertains to the Cairnduff family and McWilliams family of Nogie’s Creek, Ontario. Items include two photo albums, two Bibles, and a handwritten music book for violin. Also included are two envelopes, one containing postcards pertaining to Buckhorn and the surrounding area with postmarks dating from 1907 to 1949, collected by Clayton Grant, the other containing a newspaper clipping, photograph, and colour scripture book. Also included are two books: My Bookhouse Through Fairy Halls, and The Standard Horse and Stock Book.

          Fonds is comprised of biographical information pertaining to Joyce C. Lewis, and research material pertaining to Irish immigrant Frances Stewart and to the nineteenth-century social history of Ontario. Items include correspondence, manuscripts and notes for speeches and articles, notes on various topics, research articles, typescripts and copies of historical letters, copy photographs, and slides. Also included are a number of original historical letters pertaining to the Stewart family and one original photograph of Harriet Beaufort. Unless otherwise noted, the research materials are primarily comprised of reproductions in the form of photocopies. Further Stewart family materials were received in December 2012 and added to Box 6.

          This fonds consists of typescripts of "Aids to Jury Charges (Criminal)" and "Aids to the Small Claims Court Acts" written by Judge Kennedy. Also included are miscellaneous documents regarding the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and the Humane Killing Trap Development Committee; various certificates and appointments; a Judge Kennedy portrait; a photo of Judge Kennedy and Harry Deyman in the opening ceremonies procession at Trent University; and one photo of a courtroom scene with Judge Kennedy.

          Fonds consists of records from Julie Johnston documenting her education, writing processes, and achievements. This fonds contains some personal correspondence with friends, organizations, professors, publishers, and editors. The records include her undergraduate essays from Trent University, her early handwritten plays and short stories, book chapters, workshop materials and speeches. Fonds includes manuscripts and galley proofs of her published novels “Hero of Lesser Causes”, “Adam and Eve and Pinch-Me", “The Only Outcast”, “Love You Like a Sister”, “In Spite of Killer Bees”, “Susanna’s Quill”, and “Accidental Lives”. She also included a copy of the manuscript for an unpublished novel “The Art of Casting in Bronze”. There are also many photographs, clippings, promotional materials, reviews, and awards celebrating Johnston’s career as an author.
