Series consists of reports, policy statements, and proceedings of the 7th (1968), 8th (1970), and 22nd (1999) Canadian Labour Congress constitutional conventions.
File consists of four pocket-sized volumes attached with staples. Included are two manuals. The first is a manual for guidance in organization and operation of labour councils by the Canadian Labour Congress (1957). The second is a manual guidance in organization and operation of labour councils by the Trades and Labour Congress of Canada (1951). The last two volumes are undated directories to listing unions in Canada.
This collection consists of transcripts of minutes of the Board of Directors' of the Canadian Land and Emigration Company, 1868-1885, and annual reports of Bronson and Weston, lumber merchants, 1876-1884, with whom the Company did business. Also included are excerpts from the diaries of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Stewart, agent for the company in Haliburton, and their son Charles E. Stewart, 1865-66 and 1870.
