Douglas Pimlott was the first Director of the Environmental Studies Program at Innis College (University of Toronto). He is recognized as the originating force behind the Canadian environmental movement and was a specialist in the habits and habitat of the wolf.

These materials were located in Pimlott’s office at the University of Toronto and were forwarded to Trent University Archives by Prof. Paul Aird along with some of his own parks-related files via Prof. George Warecki in 2001.
Scope and content
Collection consists of files on parks, containing brochures, ephemera, and other material. Some folders contain correspondence from and to Prof. Douglas Pimlott relating to parks.
