    David Brown was a teacher and collector of historical documents and books who resided in Hamilton, Ontario.

    Custodial history

    This material was collected by David Brown. After his death, the executor of his estate contacted various archives and libraries and apportioned the materials out to appropriate repositories, via Bruce and Sonja Hosking.

    Scope and content

    This collection consists of miscellaneous ledgers and legal documents of businesses, doctors, etc. in Peterborough, surrounding counties and areas in southern Ontario.
