This item is a roll book for fires in and around Peterborough, Ontario, between 1886 and 1900, with names of fire-fighters, drill entries, dates and places of fires as well as false alarms.
Peterborough Fire BrigadeFile consists of a calendar card created by the Peterborough Examiner for the year 1964. The top half of the card is an aerial photograph of the Otonabee River near the campus site before Nassau Campus construction started, taken by Parks Studio. The Stanley Adamson Powerhouse and Rotary Greenway Trail Peterborough Bridge are in the photo. The bottom half is a 12 month calendar.
File also consists of a postcard with an aerial photo taken by Park's Studio depicting an early version of Nassau Campus. Photo is taken from the East Bank behind the Science Complex looking towards the West. Otonabee College not built.

This fonds consists of 58 volumes of the Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School yearbook called "The Echoes"; 2 Minute Books for the Girls' Athletic Association from 1908 to 1923; 13 scattered volumes of "Commencement Exercises" between 1937 and 1951; and 1 volume of "Reports of the Business Board of the Collegiate Echoes of the P.C.I." dated 1916-1918. Additional materials were donated by Dr. Fern Rahmel in 2002 on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of P.C.V.S.
