Included are: 1) Minutes of the Royal Blue, Royal Purple, and Royal Arch Purple degree meetings, May 1914-August 1920; 2) Minutes of the Royal Blue degree meetings, October 1921-July 1923, and October 1940-April 1949; 3) Minutes of regular meetings July 1949-December 1952; 4) Minutes of regular meetings, April 1953-March 1955.
Orange Lodge. Col. Sanderson Loyal Orange Lodge No. 321This fonds consists of minute books of the District Loyal Orange Lodge No. 3. Included are: 1) minutes of regular meetings from July 7, 1908 to December 31, 1933; and 2) Minutes from January 11, 1949 to January 30, 1950, May 8, 1966 to February 20, 1967, January 20, 1969, and January 11, 1972. Lodge No. 3 was redesignated Loyal Orange Lodge 76 in 1950 which was comprised of members from Lodges No. 80, No. 50 and No. 1175. The lodge closed in 1972.

It also includes the correspondence of John Reid, township road surveyor, with elected officials and citizens, including maps, drawings etc.; township business papers, including receipts, taxation abatements, and school business; and Statute Labour lists and returns for the year 1850.

Other materials relate to Douglas McCalla's career as a university professor, editor and author.

Materials added in 2004 include an issue of the Peterborough Examiner (Monday, October 19, 1964); a calendar (1968) with photo of Champlain College; a photograph of Traill College's first class and a scrapbook of memorabilia of Trent's early days: invitations, notices, photographs and newspaper clippings pertaining to Delany's years as a student at Trent University. Also included is a letter dated 1968 which Delaney wrote to his family shortly after arriving at Trent University.

There are newspaper clippings dating from 1881 to 1936 on Pauline Johnson and on Indigenous concerns of the time. Poems written by and collected by Pauline Johnson, and correspondence of Pauline Johnson, G.M. Ferguson, Chief G.H.M. Johnson and Allan Johnson are also included.

In 2018, an addition of Pengelley family genealogical information was received.
