Biographical history
Patrick Daniel was a teacher in Ottawa, Ontario until he retired in the 1980s. At the time of his retirement, Daniel purchased a farm that had been bought by his grandmother and uncle near Campbellford, Ontario in the 1920s, and operated it until 2002. In 1979-1980 and 1984 he was a NDP candidate for Victoria Haliburton.

This collection was in the custody of Patrick Daniel before it was donated to Trent University Archives.
Scope and content
Collection consists of pamphlets, flyers, newsletters, and government reports regarding agricultural policy, issues, and regulations, especially pertaining to the Durham County region. Subjects include soil conditions, pesticide and herbicide use, etc.
