File consists of a self-published book of photographs called "Right to Belong" that documents a gathering at Trent University from February 28 - March 2, 2019. As the first page states, "In 1970, Jeannette Corbiere Lavell and David Lavell began a challenge against the Canadian Government in a landmark case that would eventually reach the Supreme Court. The fight to end gender discrimination in the Indian Act would ultimately last decades and involve many Indigenous leaders, supporters and allies. An historic gathering, hosted at Trent University (Nogojiwanong/Peterborough, Ontario), brought together key leaders and their allies to tell their stories of this struggle. The Right to Belong research gathering and the Right to Belong Indigenous Women's Symposium were held on February 28th, March 1, and March 2, 2019. This collection of photographs was created to remember these events.

The people thanked are Dawn Lavell-Harvard, Mayor Diane Therrien, Thomas Morningstar, Michelle Lacombe, Digitalist Film Crew, Chris Hiller, Catherine Davis, Betty Carr-Braint, Lynne Davis, David Newhouse, Janet Miron, Julianna Lesage, Demi Mathias, Gracie Crafts, Unity Singers, Chef Gary Williams, Our Awesome Funders, Chief Phyllis Williams Curve Lake FN, Gabriel Maracle, Brenda Maracle O'Toole, Sandra Tomatuk, Paula Anderson, Catherine Davis, Lisa Reding, and Susie Taylor.

The photographs were taken by Mr. William Martyn who lives on Alexander Ave. in Peterborough, Ontario, next to the hospital. Over the years, whatever the weather, Mr. Martyn produced a complete chronicle of the building/demolition process. Many hours too, were spent arranging and compiling the photographs on the disks into a comprehensive slide show.

The fonds consists of correspondence, documents and records created by Phyllis Logan. Some materials relate to Dr. Hugh David Logan.

This collection consists of research material pertaining to sailing directions in Lake Ontario in 1815-1816; a photocopy and typescript of "Captain W.F.W. Owen's journal & memoirs of the back or Northern Communication between Lakes Ontario and Huron, 1817"; and a photocopy of "Elias Smith, Loyalist, Letter Book, 1799-1800" with accompanying typed indexes. Also included is a copy of "A History of Elias Smith U.E. 1736-1820, patentee of Hope Township and Merchant of Montreal" by Phyllis White, 1990, and a copy of "Oaths of Allegiance sworn before William Willcocks, J.P. 1800-1806 and Robert Baldwin 1800-1812" compiled by Phyllis White, 1997.

This fonds consists of records relating to the Policy Advisory Committee to Robert Lorne Stanfield of which T.H.B. Symons was a member. Records include correspondence and subject files, policy papers with remarks, notations, notes, background material and clippings and files regarding other political parties and conferences. Also included are records regarding the "Priorities for Canada Conference" held in Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1969.

This fonds contains two ledgers. One ledger apparently belonged to a person or business in the Port Hope area. The other ledger deals with a sale by Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Davy's from 31 March 1925.

This item consists of a set of 40 posters and an accompanying booklet. The posters are reproductions of posters related to the Russian Revolution and created in Russia between 1917 and 1929. They are loosely enclosed in a cover with the title, Posters of the Russian Revolution, 1917-1929, from the Lenin Library, Moscow. Also included is an accompanying booklet with the title, Russian Revolutionary Posters, 1917-1929, published in 1966 and written in English, which gives the translated titles of the posters, along with explanations and a history.
