Series consists of recorded interviews with members of the Trent University community. Interviews were conducted as part of the research process for Cole's book, Trent: The Making of a University, 1957-1987.
This collection consists of five receipts from the 1800's. Receipts are from various places such as Port Hope and Lindsay in Ontario and Birmingham, England. The receipts are from people such as J. Huffman, Silvester Richman, The "Canadian Post", A.T.H. Williams, M.P.P. and they are for a variety of services such as parts for farmers' machinery and farm to fixing hinges on a gate and returning socks to a business.
This item is a bill/receipt that was issued on October 1st, 1757 and payable on August 27, 1759 for 900 pounds (livres). The money was to go pay for the general expenses of the colony at Quebec. The document was issued by Monsieur de Boullougne, chief-treasurer or paymaster for the colonies. It was signed in Paris by Boullougne, by the Intendant de la nouvelle France and a witness.
