This fonds consists of correspondence of family members with Professor Douglas McCalla and his wife Anna (Skorski) McCalla. Letters predominate from 1960 when Doug went away to university but there are a few items written to grandparents in earlier, undated years. Other materials relate to Douglas McCalla's career as a university professor, editor and author.

Hoey, OwenThis item is a privately published book inscribed to "my dear friend Mrs. Traill" from "George W. Bridges, Beachly Parsonage June 18, 1862." The book tells of the desertion of Mr. Bridges' wife and the drowning of their daughters in an accident near Jamaica and his efforts to effect a reconciliation.

Charles E. Goad Company - Underwriters' Survey BureauCollection consists of nine Boyd family photograph albums, 14 glass plate negatives, and several strip negatives. The images depict the lives and activities of the Boyd family of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, and include lumbering scenes, Trent Canal steamboats, buffalo/Hereford animals, and travel excursions. Also included are three "Gypsy" photographs (Peterborough, 1909), and photographs of winter sporting activities. Several photographs depict family members; many are unidentified. Also included in this collection are copies of the wills of WT.C. Boyd and Mossom Boyd.

Lodge No. 3 was redesignated Loyal Orange Lodge 76 in 1950 which was comprised of members from Lodges No. 80, No. 50 and No. 1175. The lodge closed in 1972.
