27 cm x 17.2 cm, unpaginated [30 pages + 9 pages with mounted (pasted-on) illustrations], a total of 13 illustrations (complete), all mounted. Original printed wrappers with yapp edges, two-holed ribbon binding and staples, illustration mounted to front cover. Yapp edges chipped with short tears, as usual, large chip missing from head of spine, otherwise a very good, clean and complete copy of a rare item. "The aim in this book has been simply to describe briefly the totems, and the legends connected with them. All these poles may be seen in the usual tourist visit to Southeastern Alaska . No totem is treated in this work which has not been ceremonially erected." - from the Conclusion.
