File consists of photographs of Dr. Peter Royle (1934-2017). Dr. Royle was a professor of French Studies at Trent University from 1969 to 1996.

These portraits consist of two items. One is a portrait of Charles Rubidge, [181-?]. The caption "Captn C. Rubidge. Royal Navy, London, England," and a stamped credit "Brown 163 High Holborn London" are found on the reverse. The other is a portrait by F.W. Lock, 1845, of an unidentified male with last name Rubidge, believed to be a son of Charles Rubidge.

File consists of Prof. John Wadland’s subject file on Jane Rule. This file contains two newspaper clippings written by Rule, a review on Diana and David Crown from her novel “Memory board”, and another article reviewing Rule and her works in her 11th novel Memory book.
