INSCRIBED at head of front cover "With comps. of D Boyle." Covers chipped and dust soiled, apart from minor stains contents on whole very good. Includes contributions by G.E. Laidlaw and A.F. Chamberlain. Boyle, 1842-1911, self-taught archaeologist and ethnologist became an authority on the archaeology of Ontario , and was appointed curator of the museums of the Canadian Institute and the Ontario Dept. of Education.
