The fonds consists of typescript copies of letters patent and correspondence, from 1797 to 1855, relating to Bishop Jacob Mountain, first Anglican bishop of Quebec and to George Jehoshaphat Mountain, third Anglican bishop of Quebec, as well as to various Church matters. The fonds also includes notes taken from reports of The Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, from Letters Patent and from correspondence relating to Clergy Reserves and other topics.
Folder 1: Typed copies of Letter Patent and correspondence 1979-1855. The Letters Patent deal with various appointments of members of the Mountain Family; authorization to build a rectory; grants of land for building of churches. The correspondence is chiefly that of George Jehoshaphat Mountain, although some relates to his uncle, Jehoshaphat Mountain. Topic include appointments of various posts, petitions of widows of officers asking for help in claiming pensions, estimates of amounts for the payment of salaries of the Clergy, various other topics relating to the church.

Clough, Venerable J.C.This fonds consists of a "School Exercise Book" which contains a handwritten biographical sketch of Miss Burgess' "First School", undoubtedly written to be read to the members of the Shakespeare Club at one of their monthly meetings. The 31 loose sheets consist of poems and verse written by Burgess over the years as inspiration or occasion presented.

Victoria CountyThis fonds consists of 575 bound volumes of Victoria County administrative and financial records and court records. It includes 228 local business journals, day books, ledgers, County council material, criminal justice accounts and court documents.

This fonds consists of three issues of the University of Manitoba publication VOX which contain stories, poetry, editorials, reports and a graduate section which has photographs of the graduates for the year of publication. In all issues there are short stories and poetry written by Margaret Laurence, under her maiden name of Jean Margaret (Peggy) Wemyss. There is also a photograph of her in one of the issues.

Waddell familyThis item is a framed land grant document granting John Meyner one hundred acres of land in Cavan Township and dated 10 October 1821.
Waddell familyThe fonds consists of a minute book of the directors of Wallace Point Bridge and Road Company, dated 31 October 1886 to 15 June 1879 and a stock book. The fonds also includes a subscription list of the company's stock holders, dated 31 October 1866 and a plan of a bridge under construction, dated 15 February 1867.
Wallace Point Bridge and Road CompanyFonds is comprised of three bound volumes of correspondence, sketches, paintings, diaries, receipts, newspaper clippings, deeds, baptismal and marriage records, family trees, and scrapbooks pertaining to the Wallis family. Included also are several documents pertaining to the Forbes family, related to the Wallis family through marriage. The Peterborough-born sculptress Katherine E. Wallis (1860-1957), whose papers are located in Trent University Archives, was a member of the Wallis family.
